History
After the XM1 contract had been won, the next step in the vehicle's development involved producing the FSED (Full Scale Engineering Development), the XM1 FSED was an improvement on the American main battle tank's previous design, bud did not incorporate many external elements, improving instead on minor detail like armored side skirts and an improved FCS.
