War is the second chapter of the Apocalypse Special Operations in Armored Warfare.
Briefing[ | ]
"April, 2047"
"And another, a red horse, went out, and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from Earth, and that men would slay one another and a great sword was given to him."
"A month after the Gori operation, Ivo Rinaldi and Igor Kopylov embark upon a new mission. With their settlement slowly but surely running out of fuel, they search far and wide to find one of the few resources left in the world. Their quest takes them to the other side of the globe, Panama, where a precious item has been discovered intact - one of the last tankers in existence, full of precious cargo."
Primary Objectives[ | ]
Players have 20 minutes to complete all objectives.
Search the Ship[ | ]
Capture the three circles at C0, C1, and C2.
Liberate the City[ | ]
Capture the circle at B6, then capture the control point at B9.
Hold the Square[ | ]
Defend the control point at B9 for 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
Leave the City[ | ]
Reach the circle at D8.
Reach the Bridge[ | ]
Capture the control point at F7.
Lower the Bridge[ | ]
Defend the same control point at F7 for 40 seconds.
Protect the Train[ | ]
Players have to escort the train as it travels from the southeastern corner of the map towards its destination at F2. The primary threat is enemy AT troopers that spawn along the way as well as any additional troopers from enemy transport helicopters that successfully land on buildings. Enemy vehicles do not target the train on purpose, but they can still cause damage to the train via crossfire against player vehicles.
This objective remains active until the end of the mission. Should the train lose all of its durability, the mission will end in a failure.
Board the Warship[ | ]
When the train comes to a stop at F2, capture the control point at F2 to complete the mission.
Secondary Objectives[ | ]
Shoot down the Transport Helicopters[ | ]
This objective becomes active during the "Protect the Train" primary objective. Players have 3 minutes to shoot down all transport helicopters that approach from the map borders towards various buildings located near the train tracks. If any helicopters manage to land, they will become invincible and spawn AT troopers on the destination before leaving the area. There are a total of three helicopters on Hardcore difficulty. This is increased to five on Extreme difficulty.
