The OA-82 Jarmila 2 is a tier 4 Armored Fighting Vehicle originating from Czechoslovakia, and is sold by Zhang Feng. It can be unlocked from the OT-65A, and leads to the OT-64 Cobra.

  • Subtle movement: moving on a low speed doesn't reduce your camouflage factor.
  • Designated target: vehicle has the ability to designate targets that are within line of sight and vision range. Designated targets are called out and takes increased damage.
  • Smoke generators: generate a smoke screen around the vehicle.

Player Recommendations[]

The Jarmila 2 is a good flanker, but not a good sniper, due to its poor accuracy. Rapid fire recoilless rifles make it an excellent hit and run vehicle to support MBTs with, and its small stature makes rapid evasive maneuvers very effective.

Pros and Cons[]

  • High alpha
  • High mobility
  • Small target

  • Poor accuracy

Upgrade Suggestions[]

Upgrading to the Tatra T-603 Diesel Engine early will significantly boost the acceleration of the vehicle. While the ammunition can be upgraded, the performance boost is marginal, so it should be left for researching later.

Retrofit Suggestions[]

  • Improved Gun Breech
  • Advanced Muzzle Reference System
  • Advanced Fire Control

Commander and Crew Skill Suggestions[]

  • Commander: Erin O'Connell or Ioannis Sanna, depending on the setup of the commanders
  • Driver: Smooth Ride, Off-Road Driving
  • Gunner: Sharpshooter, Quick Draw
  • Loader: Rapid Fire, Explosive Shells

The OA-82 Jarmila II (OA stands for Armored Car) was the last iteration of a decade-long Czechoslovak development program to build an indigenous armored car, intended mostly for reconnaissance. Tatra Kopřivnice was assigned to design the vehicle and a prototype was built in April 1958. The vehicle was designated Tatra T-811, but it is more commonly known under its abovementioned project designation. It consisted of an armored T-805 chassis with the armament being the most interesting part. It consisted of two vz.59 82mm recoilless guns installed on a small rotating turret. Both guns could fire either HEAT ammunition capable of penetrating 220mm of armor at 30 degrees, or high-explosive rounds to deal with soft targets.

The OA-82 prototype was successfully tested, but, unfortunately, the vehicle became a victim of circumstances. While it was of good quality, Tatra argued that there was simply no free production capacity as the company was busy working on other projects. Preparations for mass production of the OA-82 were cancelled on February 4 1959, ending the indigenous development of armored cars completely. As for the military's needs, they were solved by the accelerated import of 124 BRDM-1 light armored recon vehicles in around 1960. These vehicles only served for five short years before being replaced in 1965 by the OT-65s of Hungarian origin.
