The LAV-150 is a tier 2 Armored Fighting Vehicle originating from the United States, and is sold by Sophie Wölfli. It can be unlocked from the FV107 Scimitar, and leads to the XM800T LAW.

  • Subtle movement: moving on a low speed doesn't reduce your camouflage factor.
  • Designated target: vehicle has the ability to designate targets that are within line of sight and vision range. Designated targets are called out and takes increased damage.
  • Auto cannon only: vehicle is armed with an auto cannon only.
  • Recon package: this vehicle's recon package provides an improved vision range when stationary.

Player Recommendations[]

A lightly armored and mobile firepower platform, the LAV-150 is an excellent low tier flanker that offers devastating firepower against lightly armored enemies and the rears of more heavily armored targets. But this mobility comes at the cost of protection, with the LAV-150 having virtually zero effective armor against incoming fire.

Pros and Cons[]

  • Excellent rate of fire
  • High mobility
  • High camo rating

  • Negligible armor
  • Massive bloom when firing rapidly

Upgrade Suggestions[]

To further improve on the already excellent mobility, upgrading to the V-504 Diesel Engine will allow for even faster movement around the battlefield. Researching ammunition upgrades will improve the damage potential of the LAV-150.

Retrofit Suggestions[]

  • Advanced Fire Control
  • Advanced Muzzle Reference System
  • Improved Gun Breech

Commander and Crew Skill Suggestions[]

  • Commander: Viktor Kirsanov, for rate of fire and aim speed
  • Driver: Smooth Ride, Off Road Driving
  • Gunner: Quick Draw, Sharpshooter
  • Loader: Rapid Fire, Preparation/Explosive Shells

Created by the United States, this hybrid light armored vehicle was built off of the V-200 and integrates several features from its predecessor, the V-100. The vehicle originally had the designation of V-150, but the name was changed in 1994 as part of a corporate acquisition. Built during the 1960s, the vehicle entered service in 1964 with almost 3,000 units produced. Designed for the export market, it is a popular choice with governments all over the world, but has primarily seen combat in Western and Southwestern Asia.
