Developed by the Soviet Union, the IS-7 was a heavy tank that from the last days of the Second World War. It was the largest and heaviest vehicle of the IS family with its frontal armor designed to withstand the fire of German 128mm KwK 44 guns. Several different prototypes were built, successfully tested and the tank was even ordered for mass-production, but the project was cancelled 1949, like due to the high cost of each vehicle.
