Operation: Harbinger is a PvE mission in Armored Warfare.

Briefing[ | ]

"August 12, 2034. The Lions of Nequiel are capturing villagers for ransom or forced recruits. You must get to the town square and clear them out while we ready helicopters for civilian evac."

Primary Objective[ | ]

Players have 12 minutes to complete the objectives.

Capture the Town Square[ | ]

Players have 7 minutes to capture the control point at F5.

Defend the Town Square from Invading Forces[ | ]

Once the first objective is complete, defend the same control point from enemy capture for 5 minutes.

Secondary Objective[ | ]

Destroy Satellite & Recon Trucks[ | ]

Destroy four trucks whose positions are indicated on the minimap under 10 minutes.

Strategy[ | ]

Enemy vehicles spawn in multiple locations on the northern half of the map, which include but not limited to the river at E2, outside town at D5, or east of the northern field. Additional enemies also arrive from the northern border of the map, so front line vehicles should take extra caution in positioning, or else they may be overwhelmed by enemy attacks from multiple fronts. Lighter vehicles and infantry snipers can take position on the cliff at B1 or C1 to spot and snipe at enemies from afar.

When the mission switches to defensive phase, enemy vehicles spawn both from north and south of the city. A lieutenant vehicle also spawns from the southeastern corner of the map before moving towards the town. Lighter vehicles can either remain in position on the northern cliff at B1 or C1, or spot for enemies coming from the south at G1. The latter position is more vulnerable to due to lieutenant vehicle's increased vision range as well as the possibility of enemy vehicles spawning beyond the map border near H0. Armored vehicles can use the town's buildings for cover while defending the control point.

Rewards[ | ]

Harbinger has a x3.65 Experience Experience multiplier and base x11.4 Credits Credits multiplier for completing the mission. The latter can be boosted to x17.07 if secondary objective is complete.

  • On Russian game client, the mission is called "Буревестник" (Burevestnik), which is a Russian name for petrel. As per the Russian poem "The Song of the Stormy Petrel", the term can refer to as "the announcer of the storm", hence the name "Harbinger" in English.
